Waqia Of Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him)

Waqia Of Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him) And The Forbidden Tree So Commentators disagree about the tree that Adam was prevented from going near: It is said that it was a grape tree, this is said by Ibn Abbas Ibn Masud, Saeed Ibn Jubayr, Shaabi, Jaadah Ibn Habira and Muhammad bin Qais, may God have mercy on him
It is narrated from Allah.
The Jews believe that it was a wheat plant and this is narrated from Ibn Abbas in a tradition and from Hasan al-Basri, Wahib bin Manbah and Atiya Awfi, Abu Malik, Mohareb bin Dasar and Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Laila.
It is narrated from Hazrat Wahib that its grain was softer than butter and sweeter than honey. Hazrat Thauri, may Allah have mercy on him, narrated from Abu Malik on the authority of Abu Hussain that it was a palm tree.
Hazrat Ibn Jaraj narrated from Mujahid that it was a fig tree. This is also the view of Qatadah and Ibn Jarij.
Hazrat Abul Aaliya said that it was such a tree that he would complain of the need for speech or defecation after eating.
And these things were not worthy of heaven. This is not a big difference, but Allah has not determined it, if
Had there been any expediency and benefit for us in determining it, then Allah would have explained it. Many more in the Qur’an
Matters have been campaigned, the clarification of which was of no particular benefit to us.

When Adam (peace be upon him) resided in Paradise, whether it was in the heavens or on the earth (which has already been mentioned), he and his wife would stay there and eat and drink abundantly and without restraint. When they ate the fruit from the forbidden tree, their clothes were torn and they were thrown down to the ground. Disagreement has also passed regarding this landing. And now the scholars also disagree about how long Adam (peace be upon him) stayed in Paradise. Some have said that part of one day of the world has remained a part of Sahih Muslim on the authority of Abu Huraira. And Abu Hurairah of Sahih Muslim? It has also been narrated that Adam (peace be upon him) was born on Friday and was expelled from Paradise on the same (Friday) day. If Adam (peace be upon him) was taken out of Paradise on the same day he was born, and the number of days is the same as the days of this world, then the result is that he stayed in Paradise for part of the days of this world, and this is obvious. If it is taken out on a day other than the day of birth, or if the amount of these six days is equal to six thousand years of the world, as the theory of Ibn Abbas, Mujahid, Dahhak mentioned earlier and the favorite opinion of Ibn Jarir is also the same, then his The result is that he lived in heaven for a long time.

The incident of Cain and Abel, sons of Adam

Ibn Kathir says that we have discussed extensively about this story under Surah Maida in our commentary. We this

In this place, the Imams summarize the discussion mentioned by the Salaf. Sidi has mentioned from Ibn Abbas, Ibn Masoud and other companions that Adam (peace be upon him) used to marry a boy from one couple to a girl from another couple. And Abel arranged marriage with the sister born to Cain. Cain was older than Abel and the sister born to Cain was more beautiful. Cain himself intended to marry his own half-sister. Adam (peace be upon him) said to let his sister marry Abel, but he refused. Adam (peace be upon him) ordered them both to sacrifice. Adam (peace be upon him) himself went to Makkah to perform Hajj and asked the heavens to protect his children while he was leaving. He denied this. Said to the lands and mountains, they also refused. Cain accepted the responsibility of protecting them

Mention of the death of Adam (peace be upon him)

Hazrat Abi bin Ka’b said when the time of Adam’s death approached, he said to his sons: O my sons! I want to eat the fruit of Paradise, they went to get the fruit for them, then the angels came in front of them, with them was a shroud and a scent called honey. Also there were axes, shovels and jobs. He asked: O son of Adam! Where is the intention? What are you looking for? He said: Our father Adam is sick and wants to eat the fruit of Paradise. The angels said: Go back, your father’s time has come. When the angels came, Eve recognized them and entered the womb with Adam. Adam (peace be upon him) said: Go away from me, I was born before you. So do not come between me and the angels of my Lord. So the angels captured his soul, shrouded him, perfumed him, dug a pit for him, built his skull, performed funeral prayers over him. Then he entered the grave. Khusbhulgai put this spur in the grave and put soil on it and said: O son of Adam! This is the way to bury the dead. This hadith is authentic up to Hazrat Abi bin Ka’b.
