We can understand the virtues of Eid  from the arguments and virtues discussed in here.  It is known that Ramadan is the month of mercy and forgiveness and freedom from hell; So, right after this month full of blessings and blessings, we are given the opportunity to celebrate the joy of Eid And it is recommended to express happiness on the day of Eid al-Fitr.

Virtues of Eid

Start With The Name Of Allah Who Is The Most Powerful And Merciful In The World

The encouragement to rejoice in the grace and mercy of Allah Ta’ala is also present in the Holy Qur’an, so it is said in verse 58 of Surah Yunus, paragraph 11, “Qul Naqasat Allah wa Rahmatha, fibzalik filifarhua”. Say: It is the bounty of Allah and His mercy and that you should rejoice in Him. Whoever stays up on the night of Eid (i.e. the night of Eid al-Fitr and the night of Eid al-Adha) to seek reward, his heart will not die on the day on which (people’s) hearts will die (Ibn Majah, Vol. 2, Page 365, Hadith No. 1784).

On the authority of Hazrat Mu’adh bin Jabal, may Allah be pleased with him, it is narrated from another place that whoever wakes up at night in five nights, Jannah becomes obligatory for him on the eighth of Dhu al-Hijjah; Ninth and Tenth Night (Thus three nights took place) And the fourth night of Eid al-Fitr; the fifth; The fifteenth night of Shaban al-Muzam, i.e. the Night of Purity (Al-Targheeb and Al-Tarheeb, Volume 2, Page 98, Hadith No. 2)

In a tradition of Hazrat Syedna Abdullah bin Abbas (RA) it is also said that when the blessed night of Eid-ul-Fitr arrives, it is called as “Lailat al-Jaiza” meaning “The Night of Reward” when it is the morning of Eid. So Allah Ta’ala sends His innocent angels to all the cities, even though those angels come to the earth and stand at the ends of all the streets and roads and call like this: O Ummah Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, come to the presence of this Lord. Let’s go! who bestows abundantly; And He forgives the greatest sins. Then Allah Ta’ala addresses His servants like this, O my servants, ask, what do you ask for? By my honor and glory today in this (Eid prayer) gathering, I will fulfill whatever questions you ask about the Hereafter, whatever you ask about this world, I will look to your good in it (i.e. I will do whatever is best for you. By my honor, as long as you respect me, I will continue to cover your mistakes. Go back, you have satisfied me and I have also been satisfied with you” (Al-Targhaib and Al-Tarheeb, Vol. 2, Page 60, Hadith No. 23).

Virtues of Eid

And it is recommended to worship on the night of Eid-ul-Fitr, as it is in the hadith that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that five things have been given to my ummah in particular regarding Ramadan, which the earlier ummahs did not get. One of which is that fasting people are forgiven on the last night of Ramadan. The Companions of the Prophet asked, “Isn’t this night of forgiveness the night of greatness?” He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said no, but the law is that the laborer is paid as soon as his work is finished. (Musnad Ahmad, Bazar, Bayhaqi, Ibn Hibban) .

It is known that even on the night of Eid we should worship and in this blessed night we should perform Isha and Fajr prayers instead of wandering around in the bazaars and getting involved in superstitions. Also, one should engage oneself in the recitation of the Qur’an, dhikr, and supplications, or at least perform the Isha and Fajr prayers in congregation. Warning It is forbidden to fast on the day of Eid al-Fitr, as it is in the hadith, and to take a bath on the day of Eid, to use maswak, to wear fine clothes as much as possible, to put on perfume, to eat dates or something sweet before the Eid prayer after dawn, Eid. Paying Sadaqah al-Fitr before going to pray Going to the place of Eid from one way and coming back from another way, saying Takbeer while going for prayer (Allah Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illa Allah, Wala Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Walillah Al Hamd), all these are among the Sunnahs of Eid.
