History Of AL Hamra Mosque
Hence this Beautiful Mosque was named Al Hamra, Muhammad II built this great foundation in 1213 and this historical place was then Decorated by Yusuf I with Arabic Beautiful Style Carvings in 1345.

The Mosque (Masjid) of Al Hamra was of red Stones.The King Built this Mosque so Beautiful in order to impress his Guests and Visitors.The walls of the Mosque as seen in the Picture Below was manuscripted with Arabic Ayat Of the Holy Quran.Small Pieces of Wood were used in decoration and designing of the Mosque.The Mosque is also Secure by its way of designing by security point of View.

The Courtyard around which the rooms of this beautiful Palace were built is called Barakh.Which means Bright Like Lightning.

Muslim Ruled Spain for about eight hundred (800) Years.it was a great success of muslims that they ruled in such a way that even people belongs to other religions also were Happy from them.Because Muslims Developed Knowledge and grace in the people ,they also built Magnificient Mosques (Masjid) and Palaces, among which Qasr Al Hamra of Granada is the owner of the Special Fame.

After Falling of Muslims of about 800 years of ruling, most of the Traces of their Rule were ceased.But only few monuments are witnesses of his Majesty.
